University of Connecticut - Implant and Bone Health Study

  • Are you a woman between the ages of 55 & 80?
Have you been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis?
  • Do you need at least one dental implant?
  • Do you have at least 12 remaining teeth?

You may be able to participate in a research study at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

The study is looking at dental implants and bone growth as part of an ongoing effort to develop better methods of rebuilding bone. As a participant, you will receive dental implants and restoration at substantially reduced fees of approximately 25% of the usual fee as well as reimbursement for followup visits.
