Lower Plate/Set of Teeth

I think I need to replace my lower partial with a lower plate. I still have six teeth in the front lower part of my mouth which has a partial denture. I need someone to advise me about keeping them vs. pulling them and getting a lower set. My top plate of teeth are fine, with the exception of needing a permanent reline. I also need to know why my right lower jaw bone is different than the left.

I have only worn dentures for 4-5 yrs. I do know ill-fitting dentures can be detrimental to one's health and I have had teeth problems all my ife. I would love to be free all the pain. Thanks for any/all help you may provide me with.

Need Dental Implants

I am a 55 year old grandparent raising three grandsons, so needless to say I have no health or dental care.

Over the last couple of years, my teeth started falling apart in bits and pieces when I wasn't even eating anything at all. I didn't know what was going on. Some time later I ran across a medical article talking about medications causing dental problems. After looking up the list of medications four of my medications were on this list. I have been on these medications that causes serious dry mouth and tooth decay. There weren't any warnings anywhere on the medication bottles or the printout sheets that the pharmacists give with the medications.

I feel that with all the possible side effects they list on these medications they could have at least put this warning in there as well. So my mouth is a mess of pain, teeth falling apart, and breath that would kill a dragon. I've been searching for dental help for the last year.

There's a lot of help out there if your disabled, under 18 years or over 60 years of age but, for my age group, there's nothing. I would be eternally grateful to get some relief.

Son Needs a Partial Plate

My name is Charles Short and I live in Daphne, Alabama. I am writing this in an effort to help my son whose name is Mark Short. Mark lives in Enid, OK and is employed at the Rib Crib restaurant there in Enid. Mark is in dire need of some dental work and I am making an effort to see if someone local can help him.

Mark is missing his two front upper teeth. He had a partial plate which broke recently. He really needs some help in getting this problem taken care of. As you might expect, it looks terrible when he smiles. He is currently living at the Inner City Ministries in Enid. He makes $9.00 per hour and works about 30 hours per week. He will be able to pay the dentist at least $30.00 per month until the dental bill is paid in full. I believe he will need another partial plate in order to correct his problem.

I need to find if a dentist will see him and make a suggestion as to the best route for Mark to go in order to get his teeth corrected. This will be on the basis of paying the $30.00 per month.

Thank you in advance for your help on this matter, and please reply via email with any help or suggestions you may have. If you can arrange an appointment for him, please let me know so I can contact Mark and advise him. Your help is appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Regards

Charles Short

Root Canal, Dental Filling, Prophy and Dental Crowns

A few of my teeth are slowly beginning to rot. I now have an infection and my face is swollen. I am a single mom and currently unemployed. I have always taken care of my teeth, but the past few years have been a real struggle for me.

I am an IT Tech, and lost my job last year, and I am drawing unemployment. Every penny I have goes to bills, and groceries, and for my daughters needs. She is 9 years old. My car needs a $300 fuel Pump, not including labor. Life is hard here, but I am making it.

I have teeth that have been pulled leaving gaps on the left side of my mouth. There is a tooth next to a gap that is rotting away. This tooth is causing my face to swell. I also began to notice recently that my teeth tend to hurt when I brush them. Sometimes eating sweets hurt them as well, but nothing real major yet. My front teeth are fine - it is my back teeth on both sides that are hurting. The ones on the bottom, may need root canals and the ones on the left side of my mouth are beginning to rot - causing my face to swell.
